It was totally time to do something about my weight – I was so sick of myself, hated the mirror, hated buying clothes….and considering I used to model in my younger years I was feeling like a huge blob……probably because I was!
There were a number of things that contributed to the gain of weight…after my first child was born the weight just dropped off me…..I didn’t even have to try (mind you, I was 18 then)…..I had my 2nd eight years later….gained 32 kgs in the pregnancy and didn’t drop anything, even with breastfeeding for 14 months…..my metabolism was terrible.
I then did what everybody tends to do and yo-yo dieted for the following years and then came to a weight that I could live with, it wasn’t fantastic but was ok…..then I had a nasty shock a little over a year ago when my partner of 13 years left for another woman that he worked with – things went from bad to worse weight-wise for me and over the past year I have managed to balloon to a whopping 101kgs (15st 9lb)!!!
It was time to do something……and fast, I was starting to hate myself…
After a conversation with a girl I work with, I went trawling through the net looking for fat burners and appetite suppressants…..I found a supplier in New Zealand of “The Most Effective Fat Burner Available”….so I ordered some…..they were Fusion Sub-Q…I spoke to the guy who said they were marketed as a fat burner for Body Builders but they were the best and he highly recommended them….so I bought some……I started taking them on 4 Nov 08, religiously taking 2 pills twice a day….I was watching what I ate, 1st week, no loss, 2nd week, no loss and 3rd week gained a kg!!!!! I was gutted, I thought they were going to be the answer to my weight loss….and then to top it all off, I broke my elbow and was unable to do anything at all in the way of exercise until that was sorted.
I had a conversation with a very good friend of mine who was living in Australia and she told me about the Diet Essential Pills, how she had lost weight on them and that I should try them because they definitely work. I was sooooooo sceptical about paying for more pills because the last lot just didn’t work and they aren’t cheap…..then she came over to New Zealand for a visit and she had lost loads of weight that she attributed to the Diet Essential Pills, so I went searching the net and found the Biorepublik Website!
I ordered my first lot of them and they arrived to my door in 8 days. Packaging was fantastic, very discreet, you would have had no idea what was in the bag if the small green customs sticker didn’t have to be on it.
I took my very first Diet Essential Pill on 16 Dec 08. (and this is just one pill a day at breakfast time!)
Between Day 1-4 I was feeling a bit jittery, felt like my legs wanted to move all the time. I would say it probably took around about 3-4 days for the full effect of the appetite suppressant to kick in, but once it kicked in I had no desire to eat, I had to force myself to have 3 meals a day. I would say the worst that happened was that I had some insomnia, I was still quite awake when I should have been asleep for at least the last 3 or 4 hours, I didn’t feel at all washed out or anything for work though.
After about a week I noticed that I was really wanting to exercise somehow, it felt like I had so much energy that I just had to get rid of, so for a start I began walking my dog every night, and it wasn’t just a stroll, I was really stepping it out and it wasn’t an effort to do it at all!! This was so unlike me…I had become so lazy and just couldn’t be bothered doing anything remotely like exercise before.
After taking the Diet Essential Pills for 2 weeks I decided to buy myself some scales because I had thrown the last ones out when they said I was 101 kgs, they must have been wrong, surely!! (I could have even put more weight on after throwing them, I wouldn’t know), but I have made my start weight as 101 kgs as this would be around the approximate weight…... So I went and bought some and the next morning weighed myself and I was 92.4 kgs (14st 6lb)…..that was an 8.6kg (1st 4lb) loss in 2 weeks!!
I was so excited. These were miracle pills…they really work!! I couldn’t wait to get to the next week so I could weigh myself again!
One week later and I weighed in at 89.5kgs (14st 1lb), so that was a loss of 2.9kgs ( ½ stone) in just a week!
I have been having no side effects other than feeling like I want to exercise and don’t want to eat as much….(I can live with those as side effects!!)…sometimes I think I am hungry and make something to eat, but when I get through about half of it I am totally full and I find if I have just one more forkful, I am over-full and feel really bloated. I love these pills!!!!!
The last week of taking this miracle pill and I have lost a further 2.1kgs (4.6lb) so all up in one month I have lost 13.6 kgs (2st 1lb)…..and without any real effort….I couldn’t be happier, I am feeling great, my energy levels are fantastic, I am starting to like myself again!!

I have taken a full length from when I started taking Diet Essentials on 16/12/08 and then a full length after a 15 kg loss which I have just reached over the weekend!!
I have also taken a close up of my face on these dates as well…..I didn’t realise just how different I looked until I put these pictures together! What a huge change in just 5 weeks!!
I will send more pictures in my updates each month so you can see my progress, but at this rate, it’s not going to take long to get to my goal! Please excuse the non-smiles!! It’s not that I am extremely unhappy, (well I was in December 2008!!)… it’s mainly that I wanted to see the change in my face and thought not smiling would be the best way to see…..eeewww no make up either and hair tied back…..I wouldn’t normally let anyone see photos like these close ups!!
