HORDENINE is a central nervous system stimulant and is mainly used by people to help lose weight due to the way it is supposed to release fat from the body. It increases mental and physical energy by the release of  norepinephrine.

Hordenine should not be taken if you are taking blood pressure medication, alpha blockers, beta blockers or asthma / allergy medications. Do not take hordenine in combination with other central nervous system stimulants as it may cause anxiety, rapid heartbeat, insomnia, headaches and dizziness.

It has been noted that it may increase the effects of phenylethylamine (PEA) although the specific pharmacology is not fully understood.
